Valentine's Day Mailboxes

This DIY craft I did about 5+ years ago is still my #1 pinned post from my blog.  It's a fun way to give your kids some happy/love mail - flip the flag up when there is mail!

I was just at Target the other day and saw they had these mailboxes in the dollar section.  There are a few ways I would make these more my style now (probably would use a very plain candlestick holder, or even something wooden as the stand).  Also, they have GOLD mailboxes now which are totally my jam.  It's such a fun idea and you still have time to get out there and create something!

PS, this was when we only had 4 kids, hence the 4 mailboxes ;)

Find an old candlestick holder or any other stand you like (spray paint if needed).  Find your small mailbox in the Dollar section at Target.  Get some scrapbooking letters, or paint them on.  Hot glue the stand to the mailbox and voila.  Place happy mail in them anytime you want!
